Project description

The objective of the Media_WIND project is to offer to the end-user enriched multi-screens new services with personalized and individual interaction between main TV screen and personal devices (i.e. Tablets…) while standing in front of conventional television services at home. With the deployment of innovative technologies on Tablets, Smartphones,… devices the interaction becomes natural and the end user expects to benefit from enhanced services such as zoom, slow motion, online betting,… The current broadcasters and operators, thanks to these new offers, will find new business models allowing them to counter their competitors while leveraging their investments. For example they could propose a quality enriched Pay-TV offer, promote new services available on broadband networks thanks to targetted and personalized advertisements, provide on-demand applications as for App-Store model or could afford on-line purchase or on-line betting services.
