The DIAMONDS project convinced visitors at ITEA & ARTEMIS Co-summit 2011 in Helsinki. Out of 42 ITEA-projects, it won the ITEA Exhibition Award. This public's choice award annually honors the project team, which presents its aims and results in the most understandable and vivid way. The project DIAMONDS develops efficient and automated security testing methods for highly secure systems in multiple industrial domains like banking or telecommunication. The project team used „Fredi, the Fox“ to show, how different model-based security tests for banking, telecommunication and industrial automation can be applied. With a safe, filled with chocolate, and the attacker „Fredi, the Fox“ the project team visualized attacker scenarios, vulnerabilities, measures, testing tools and methods for the exposed demonstrators.
