University of Angers
The LASQUO-ISTIA-University of Angers includes 30 people whose skills are consistent with the multidisciplinary thematic. The team is structured around two axes:
- Dependability systems
- Optimization and process control.
Dependability of systems
The overall objective in terms of research is to evaluate and optimize system performance by ensuring a high level of reliability and safety.
o Design of models simulating the overall system reliability,
o Conducting tests to estimate the reliability (systems or/and components)
Optimization and control of process
o Development and improvement of methods of process optimization by design of experiments.
o Diagnosis and Prognosis, including the development of new approaches based on Bayesian networks.
The issue of research is addressed at several levels: At the component level, At an equipment level, At a system of interoperable equipment.
This issue is also addressed from different angles: The certification process, The design process of system(Software, Hardware, Embedded system, mechatronic system, etc_) in terms of methods, simulate model, and associated tools, The technical mechanisms required to ensure proper operation of systems, and exercise the necessary controls of the correct execution.
