The LiSSi research laboratory (Laboratoire Image Signaux Systèmes Intelligents) is part of the research laboratories of the Paris-Est, Créteil, Val de Marne (UPEC) University – 32000 students and 2400 staff members. The LISSI Lab counts around 89 members (including professors, associate professors, research assistants and post docs, engineers and PhD Students).
LiSSi was originally created to develop methods and algorithms for signal processing and for modelling, analysis and control of networks and complex systems. Application fields are then ubiquitous robotics, pervasive and distributed systems, autonomous and soft computing (machine learning, fuzzy systems, neural networks), service based architectures, context-aware agent middleware, Intelligent Agents Platform for dynamic workflow and context-aware applications, biomedical signal processing, and also intelligent data processing and multi-agent systems. All these research activities have given rise to several publications in international journals or conference proceedings.
