University of Oulu is the second biggest university in Finland and the education and research center of the northern part of the country, with over 13000 students and 3000 staff. The Department of Information Processing Science provides teaching and research expertise in five specialization areas: digital media, mobile services, software engineering, software business, and information systems, with a long record of successful research and technology development projects, national and international, in cooperation with research and industrial partners. M-group is the largest research group in the Department and it focuses on professional software and systems engineering in embedded systems and services.
