The ITEA 2 Symposium 2006 was very successful. More than 400 participants visited this lively two-days event in Paris.
The theme of this years symposium was:
European research excellence for competitive software-intensive systems and services
The exhibition showing the practical results of European research on embedded and distributed software-intensive systems and services and the opening speech by François Loos, Minister Delegate for Industry at the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry were two highlights - among others - of the ITEA 2 Symposium 2006 in Paris, France on 5 and 6 October.
More than 400 participants attended the lively two-days event, which emphasised the vitality of ITEA 2, with presentations from politicians, industrialists and academics, demonstrations from some 40 projects in the project exhibition, and three parallel technical workshops on software engineering solutions, new businesses and trends in new media that allowed exhibitors to share their experiences.
