Demonstration of autonomous driving on Seoul roads with DANGUN algorithm

Last month, the Hanyang University and LG, respectively project leader and project partner of the ITEA DANGUN project, demonstrated a self-driving car smoothly manoeuvring its way through the busy streets of Seoul on Monday, aided by and broadcasted live on a 5G network.

This demo was covered by several large news channels and newspapers in South Korea (see links below).

The autonomous driving demo is part of a broader ongoing research project. The algorithm - driving in congested roads - was developed in the ITEA DANGUN project and was part of this demonstration.
