Our modern society is confronted by mass of communication media, which is no longer under control and which destabilises global society. Have a look on the results of last elections everywhere in the world and the associated instability or governments far removed from the European principles of democracy. In ITEA, an innovative path has been explored in the MOS2S project to protect the massive personal content trend, from the fake news or mob violence, and, at the same time, to offer some edited content based on this personal content.

Retailing is still a huge business with €2.56 trillion/year, but also a huge employer at
European level (accounting for almost 9% of all jobs). But retailers are under a huge pressure from
E-commerce with Amazon (2018 net revenue USD 232.88 billion) being the most aggressive but also the most

A unique moment where Barco invites its key customers, shows unprecedented innovation and gathers user requirements to further adapt the Barco products. The ITEA board decided to strengthen even more the business orientation of the ITEA programme by setting up customer and end-user workshops. The target of these new workshops is to clarify the international customers and end-user needs and to build our future ITEA proposals from these actual urgent demands.
The theme of the first workshop was Smart City and gathered several cities, industrials and SMEs.
The quality of the job done during this workshop will ensure that we now have the right input to set up ITEA proposals on Smart City with high potential. We forecast several proposals during our next PO Days, taking place on 22-23 September in Brussels.
Pleased to meet you there!
